Remission of mesothelioma is possible?

Mesothelioma, even after decades of medical research, is one of the most aggressive and least treatable of all cancers.

Still in progress, a small percentage of patients in remission from mesothelioma, and I (two cases, one anecdotal report, but I saw the movie itself), and the other to the medical literature.

Dr. Demetrio Sodi-Pallares, who has lived that of 1913 to 2003, was at one time as a electrocardiologist leader in the world. ProfessorUCLA, Michigan, and Baylor medical schools, was the author of twelve books and over 300 articles in medical journals.

In 1960, Dr. Sodi, as he prefers to be called, was at the Department of Medicine at the Baylor College with the pioneer of bypass surgery, Dr. Michael DeBakey. Competitive with DeBakey, address Sodi perfected an alternative procedure, a bypass "does not require any surgery and drugs minimum.

During a bypass, everyone knows something about the world, Dr.Sodi glucose-insulin-potassium (GIK) infusion method was considered valid only for the American Heart Association recognized 53 years after they developed it, even when used in 11 countries today. Dr. Sodi, of course, was invited in his home in Mexico City back in 65 years of age. Dr. DeBakey is still owned and 100 on September 7, 2008 again

Back in Mexico, Dr. Sodi (to the dismay of his wife), built a medical unit of the pool and gardens of flowers, and opened hisDoors to patients desperate that they had no money. One of his patients had mesothelioma.

Dr. Sodi was more or less by accident that the effective treatment of heart disease often leads to a remission of cancer studied. He arrived in 1980, a construction worker with mesothelioma that has not been free of treatment is always at the public hospital, after ordering labs and x-ray, Dr. Sodi put on a three-step program:

Avoid all added salt and foods preserved with salt.

Essen 10Servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

And take a nap for 3 hours 5 days a week

The NAP is occurring on a pulsed magnetic field mattress like a regular day for the treatment of back pain.

This is not the kind of regimes that goes to medical school to provide the possibility of having reached the age of 65. It was so simple. Dr. Sodi fee? Zero.

I was a guest of the house of Dr. Sodi is about 15 years later. Showed me the film of the withdrawal andpleural effusion, and then disappear, and then introduced me to these and many other patients. What is striking, it was this man, if it had not been in operation polluted environment of Mexico City, that his skin was very rosy. This can not, or do not have anything to do with forgiveness, but it was memorable.

So, what can I expect someone to take this away from my reading of history?

Well, is not the only story of adoption out there. Others are scientificallydocumented.

While I have great confidence in the integrity of Dr. Sodi, and still has not conducted a case study in a free clinic for an empty swimming pool in the courtyard of a doctor is not really built to be substantiated by scientific evidence.

But it is with some statement on the prevention of mesothelioma I wrote about this in a later post online. If 10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day is good, by the way, this does not mean that the 20 would be better. Apparently there is an upper limitlimit the benefits of nutrition in the prevention and possibly help mesothelioma, as I will speak in a later post.

If all this is evidence of a response could be found, I would place. But the fact that a well-documented adoption of mesothelioma has been documented in medical literature.

Dr Roger KA Allen, Wesley Medical Center in Brisbane, Australia, documented the case of a 61-woman-years with mesothelioma, which went into remission within a few months, andremained in remission for years. (You can find the full text of the publication, "Apparent spontaneous complete regression of a multifocal malignant pleural mesothelioma, here.)

Dr. Allen notes that he has treated over 600 patients with mesothelioma and passing many of the biopsy to ensure that the woman had (1) and mesothelioma (2) went into remission without treatment at all.

By any treatment, wrote Dr. Allen, that there is no alternativeMedicine, no change in diet, and prayer - but it seems unlikely that we could really account for these variables. Australian patients were in remission for five years, was when the newspaper was published in 2007.

Have had and there are also people, mesothelioma, can remain in remission, but have lived a very long period. The Royal Brompton Hospital in London reported a patient who developed mesothelioma in remission has been knocked for six years, then had a solid tumor have, and then livedsix years for a total of twelve years, was still alive at the time of publication of the Green Paper. You (an excerpt from this report can be read here.)

Mesothelioma is a serious diagnosis, but is not entirely without hope. Do not count yourself out.
